● बंकिम चन्द्र चट्टोपाध्याय [ 27 जून 1838 से 8 अप्रैल 1894 ] को बंकिम चंद्र चटर्जी के नाम से भी जाना जाता हैं। इनका जन्म नैहाटी, बंगाल में हुआ था। ये बंगाल के प्रख्यात उपन्यासकार, कवि, गधकार और पत्रकार थे।
भारत का राष्ट्रगीत वन्दे मातरम् है जिसे बंकिमचन्द्र चट्टोपाध्याय द्वारा वर्ष 1882 में आनंदमठ उपन्यास में लिखा गया। इसे पहली बार वर्ष 1896 में रविन्द्रनाथ टैगोर ने भारतीय राष्ट्रीय काँग्रेस के अधिवेशन में गाया था।
जो भारतीय स्वतंत्रता संग्राम के काल में क्रान्तिकारियों का प्रेरणास्रोत बन गया था। 
[ Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay [27 June 1838 to 8 April 1894] is also known as Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. He was born in Naihati, Bengal. He was a noted novelist, poet, donor and journalist of Bengal.
The national anthem of India is Vande Mataram which was written by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay in the year 1882 in the novel Anandamath. It was first sung by Rabindranath Tagore at the session of the Indian National Congress in the year 1896.
Which became the inspiration of revolutionaries in the era of Indian freedom struggle. ]

● ऐसा माना जाता हैं कि आज (26 जून) ही के दिन वर्ष 1498 में चीन के राजा ने पहली बार टूथब्रश को दुनियां के सामने रखा था। उस समय टूथब्रश में ब्रिस्‌ल्‌स की जगह जानवरों के बालों का इस्तेमाल किया जाता था जिसे हड्डी या बाँस के टुकड़ों में लगाकर टूथब्रश की तरह दांत साफ करने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता था। प्राचीन इजिप्ट और बेबिलोनिया में दातून का प्रयोग होता था। वहीं यूरोप में टूथब्रश 17 वीं सदी में आया और फिर 1930 के दशक में नायलॉन टूथब्रश का प्रयोग होने लगा।
( It is believed that on this day in the year 1498, the King of China placed the toothbrush for the first time in front of the world. At that time, toothbrushes used animal hair instead of bristles which were used to clean teeth like toothbrushes by applying them in pieces of bone or bamboo. Datun was used in ancient Egypt and Babylonia. In Europe, toothbrushes came in the 17th century and then in the 1930s nylon toothbrushes started being used. )

● आज अंतराष्ट्रीय ओलिंपिक दिवस हैं। ओलंपिया पर्वत पर खेले जाने के कारण इसका नाम ओलिंपिक पड़ा। इसकी स्थापना बैरोन पियरे डे कोबेर्टिन ने की। हर चार साल पर होने वाले ओलिंपिक खेल के वर्ष को ओलंपियाड के नाम से भी जाना जाता हैं। 23 जून यानी आज ही के दिन वर्ष 1894 में अंतराष्ट्रीय ओलम्पिक समिति का गठन हुआ था। यह एक अंतराष्ट्रीय समिति हैं, जो ओलिंपिक खेलों का आयोजन करती हैं। इसका मुख्यालय स्विट्जरलैंड में हैं।

● सौरमंडल में पृथ्वी और सभी ग्रह सूर्य की परिक्रमा करते हैं। इस सिद्धांत को सूर्य केंद्रीय सिद्धांत यानी हेलियोसेंट्रिक थ्योरी कहा जाता हैं। इस सिद्धांत का श्रेय आर्यभट्ट और निकोलोस कोपरनिकस को भी दिया जाता हैं। इटैलियन खगोल - विज्ञानी, भौतिकज्ञ तथा अभियंता गैलीलियों गैलिली ने इस पर अनुसंधान किये और इसे सिद्ध किये और दुनियां को इस सिद्धांत के बारे में बतानी चाही जिससे लोगों में उस दौर में इस सिद्धांत को लेकर जो विपरीत धारणाएं थी वो दूर हो सके। अपनी इस सिद्धांत यानी थ्योरी के लिए आज (22 जून) ही के दिन वर्ष 1633 में गैलीलियो गैलिली को रोमन कैथलिक चर्च के न्याय व्यवस्था ने सजा सुनाई थी। जिसके बाद उन्हें अपने ही घर मे नज़रबंद कर दिया गया था। गैलीलियों गैलिली की ये थ्योरी काफ़ी समय तक विवादों में रही। उस दौर में ज़्यादातर दार्शनिक और खगोलशास्त्री भूकेंद्रीय सिद्धान्त यानी जॉसेंट्रिसिसम थ्योरी जिसमें कहा जाता था कि ब्रह्मांड के केंद्र में सूर्य नहीं बल्कि पृथ्वी हैं और सूर्य के साथ बाकी के ग्रह परिक्रमा करते हैं। यानी गैलीलियों गैलिली को सच बोलने की सजा भुगतनी पड़ी।

मुसीबत में या सफ़लता न मिलने पर हिम्मत नहीं हारनी चाहिये बल्कि समस्याओं का डट कर सामना करनी चाहिये।क्योंकि " सत्य परेशान हों सकता हैं, पराजित नहीं "...!!

(The Earth and all the planets in the Solar System revolve around the Sun.  This theory is called the Sun Central Theory i.e. Heliocentric Theory. Aryabhatta and Nicolos Copernicus are also credited with this theory.  The Italian astronomer, physicist and engineer Galileo Galilei researched and proved it and wanted to tell the world about this theory so that people could overcome the contrary beliefs about this theory at that time. Galileo Galilei was sentenced by the Roman Catholic Church's judicial system in 1933, today (22 June) for his theory. After which he was placed under house arrest.  This theory of Galilee Galilee has been in dispute for a long time. At that time, most philosophers and astronomers called the bhukendriya sidhant, which is said to be geocentricism or geocentric theory , that the center of the universe is not the Sun but the Earth and the rest of the planets revolve with the Sun. That is, the Galileo Galilei had to face the penalty of telling the truth....

When in trouble or lack of success, you should not lose courage but face the problems firmly.

● Today (21 June) is the longest day of the year. On this day, the rays of the sun stay longer. On this day, the inclination of the earth is highest towards the sun. In the northern hemisphere, these days are celebrated as Summer Solstice Day, or the summer solstice. Today is observed as Winter Solstice Day i.e. Winter Solstice Day in the Southern Hemisphere. There are also some areas in the Northern Hemisphere where the day remains for about 24 hours and there is no night. This happens due to the position of the Earth in front of the Sun.  Rather, during winter solstice, the duration of the day becomes shorter and the night becomes longer.

Note:- December 22 is the shortest day of the year, because on this day the rays of the sun remain on the earth for a short time.
