● राष्ट्रीय तापीय अभियंता दिवस 24 जुलाई को रोजमर्रा की जिंदगी में थर्मल महत्वपूर्ण इंजीनियरों के योगदान की सराहना करने के लिए मनाया जाता है। इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स थर्मल प्रबंधन इसकी लंबी उम्र और विश्वसनीय संचालन के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है।
घरों तथा गाड़ियों में इस्तेमाल होने वाले एयरकंडीशनर तथा रेफ्रिजरेटरों में इसी इंजीनियरिंग का इस्तेमाल होता है।
थर्मल इंजीनियरिंग वास्तव में बंद या खुले वातावरण में वस्तुओं को गर्म या ठंडा रखने की प्रक्रिया हैं। थर्मल इंजीनियर ऊष्मीय ऊर्जा को केमिकल, मैकेनिकल या विद्युतीय ऊर्जा में परिवर्तित करने के लिए विभिन्न प्रकार की मशीनें तैयार करते हैं, जिनके जरिये वे ऊष्मा को नियंत्रित करते हैं।
