● Vegetarian Day is observed annually around the planet on October 1. It is a day of celebration established by the North American Vegetarian Society in 1977 and endorsed by the International Vegetarian Union in 1978, "To promote the joy, compassion and life-enhancing possibilities of vegetarianism."

● What is Vegetarian: a person who does not eat or does not believe in eating meat, fish, fowl, or, in some cases, any food derived from animals, as eggs or cheese, but subsists on vegetables, fruits, nuts, grain, etc.

★ The Word 'Vegan' is obtained from the common name 'vegetarian. it was created by Donald Watson, an animal rights advocate.

★ TYPES OF VEGETARIAN:- 

Vegan.

Lacto Vegetarian.

Ovo Vegetarian.

Lacto-ovo vegetarian.

Pescatarian (Pescetarian)

Pollotarian.

Flexitarian.
