● दुनियाभर में 21 सितंबर को अल्जाइमर दिवस मनाया जाता है। अल्जाइमर " Neurodegenerative Disease " है। अल्जाइमर एक तरह की भूलने (धीरे-धीरे) की बीमारी है, जो सामान्यत: बुजुर्गो में होती है। इस बीमारी से पीड़ित मरीज सामान रखकर भूल जाते हैं। यही नहीं, वह लोगों के नाम, पता या नंबर, खाना, अपना ही घर, दैनिक कार्य, बैंक संबंधी कार्य, नित्य क्रिया तक भूलने लगता है।

वर्ष 1906 में जर्मन मनोवैज्ञानिक अलॉयसियस अल्जाइमर

ने इस बीमारी का पता लगाया था।

( Alzheimer's Day is observed on 21 September worldwide.  Alzheimer's is "Neurodegenerative Disease".  Alzheimer's is a type of amnesia that usually occurs in the elderly.  The patients suffering from this disease forget about keeping things.  Not only this, he starts forgetting people's names, addresses or numbers, food, his own house, daily work, bank related work, daily activities.

★ Symptoms (लक्षण): Memory loss and confusion are the main symptoms.

More Symptoms :-

Cognitive: mental decline, difficulty thinking and understanding, confusion in the evening hours, delusion, disorientation, forgetfulness, making things up, mental confusion, difficulty concentrating, inability to create new memories, inability to do simple maths, or inability to recognise common things.

Behavioural: aggression, agitation, difficulty with self care, irritability, meaningless repetition of own words, personality changes, restlessness, lack of restraint, or wandering and getting lost.

Mood: anger, apathy, general discontent, loneliness, or mood swings

Psychological: depression, hallucination, or paranoia.

Also common: inability to combine muscle movements, jumbled speech, or loss of appetite.

● World Water Monitoring Day was established in 2003 by America's Clean Water Foundation (A.C.W.F.) as a global educational outreach program.
